Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented product sales engineer to join our team at Wrk.
As a product sales engineer, you will interface with prospects and resellers to drive business growth by understanding their needs, providing automation solutions and effectively articulating the value of our products and services. Your role is key to bringing the value of business process automation to customers and enabling resellers with the knowledge to succeed.
You will be at the heart of the advent of automation in North American and other English speaking markets, where technology such as AI evolves rapidly and its application is still to be discovered. Key Responsibilities
Understand reseller and customer automation needs, systems and infrastructure. Align product offerings with their requirements to provide tailored automation solutions.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers throughout the sales process or reseller onboarding process.
Understand our product technical capabilities, features, functionalities, benefits and differentiators compared to the competition.
Participate in pre-sales and sales meetings with resellers or prospects to provide product and technical expertise and showcase the value of our solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase key features and functionalities. Address technical technical questions and enable customers and resellers to make full use of the capabilities of the product.
Contribute to sales strategies, pricing decisions and contract negotiations based on technical considerations.
Collaborate with the internal teams to gather requirements and ensure the successful implementation of solutions using the product.
Provide post-sales support to resellers and customers, including technical troubleshooting and training, until the Customer Success team has been fully taken over, to ensure customer satisfaction with the product and service.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor offerings, and provide feedback and insights from the market to the product development team.
Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a sales engineer or in a business process automation role.
Strong technical skills with a proven ability to understand complex business processes and technical concepts.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
Proven experience delivering training to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Experience with integration and automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, Make, Workato, UIPath, or other similar tools) and understanding of APIs.
Past experience in a consulting role to understand diverse business needs from various organizations and apply the best technical solution is an asset.
Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other business systems.
Experience with automation in industries such as finance and healthcare is a plus.
