The Role
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. This role is crucial for driving our growth by qualifying inbound leads, prospecting, building a pipeline, and setting meetings for our sales executives. The BDR will be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a key role in generating interest and setting the stage for successful sales engagements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify inbound leads through research and initial outreach, ensuring they meet our ideal customer profile
  • Proactively prospect potential clients through various channels including email, phone, social media, and networking events
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent opportunities for the sales team
  • Set meetings for sales executives by effectively communicating the value proposition of Wrk.com’s solutions
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand the needs and challenges of potential clients, and tailor your approach accordingly
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment on lead generation campaigns and follow-up strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, tracking all interactions and progress
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on the quality and performance of leads to help refine targeting and messaging
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position Wrk.com’s offerings
  • Participate in regular training and development sessions to continuously improve your skills and performance
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with a passion for sales and a knack for identifying and qualifying opportunities. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, proactive, and driven to achieve and exceed targets. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with potential clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience 1-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and appointment setting targets
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and qualify complex opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with potential clients
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a strong desire to succeed and grow in a sales career
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and think on your feet
