We are looking for a Senior Actuary (f/m/d) to support the Head Actuary. This role is based in our Zurich office with a hybrid work setup.

The Role

As a Senior Actuary, you will play a crucial role in supporting our actuarial function. You will be instrumental in the creation and implementation of local/S2 calculations, including:

• Best Estimate
• SCR (Solvency Capital Requirement)
• Local GAAP Evaluations
• Non life Scenarios

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a modern and efficient suite of reporting tools with a strong focus on automation.
• Conducting reserving and experience analysis.
• Performing Solvency II reporting.
• Carrying out "What if" analysis to inform strategic decisions.

What You Bring

• Several years of experience in non-life insurance, specifically in reserving and Solvency II.
• Hands-on experience with non-life actuarial modelling.
• Proficiency in or a strong motivation to learn Python, SQL, and PowerBI.
• Critical thinking skills, providing educated opinions and insights.
• Fluency in English; German and other languages are a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present complex actuarial concepts to non-actuarial stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments to drive projects to completion.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
