Payroll Analyst – Kraków, Poland (Hybrid, Full-time)

Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Specialist at Zendesk, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our employees are compensated correctly and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing end-to-end payroll operations across EMEA, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Collaborating with Payroll vendors across multiple countries to maintain seamless processes.
Preparing month-end payroll activities, including reports, journals, and variance analysis for our EMEA subsidiaries.
Maintaining accurate payroll records, reports, and governance to uphold data integrity.
Serving as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing professional and efficient support.
Handling year-end activities (e.g., tax filings, statements) for all EMEA countries, ensuring compliance with tax authorities.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Assist with compliance reviews, SOX controls, and external audits as needed.
Managing payments, deductions, and benefits in alignment with legislative guidelines.
Supporting the EMEA Payroll Manager in ongoing payroll enhancements and EMEA projects.
Take on ad-hoc duties to support our fast-growing team.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and attributes:
A background in Accounting/Finance or a related college diploma/degree with 1-2 years of experience.
3-4 years of payroll experience, ideally in Poland and one other EMEA country.
A payroll qualification is preferred.
A "can-do" attitude, with a proven ability to thrive in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills, including vlookup and pivot tables, and strong computer literacy.
A team player mentality with meticulous attention to detail.
A customer-oriented approach with tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to confidentiality.
A strong drive to deliver excellent service and results.
Proven ability to partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve issues quickly.

The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł94,000.00-zł140,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
