Reporting to the CTO, you'll bridge the gap between innovative technical payment solutions and outstanding customer payment experiences. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define strategic visions, craft requirements, and prioritize resources based on customer needs and technical feasibility.

Your Day-To-Day

  • Strategic Vision: Collaborate with business stakeholders and development leaders to shape the vision for payments solutions, aligning with customer needs, company strategy, and technical feasibility
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and scale high-performing engineering teams, providing mentorship, setting performance goals, and fostering a culture of efficiency and quality
  • Technical Design and Delivery: Own the payments solutions architecture, driving technical roadmaps for development teams, and ensuring alignment with business requirements
  • SDLC Life Cycle: Set prioritization, requirements, and demand for payments development teams, leading planning, scoping, and delivery of projects to meet launch dates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish and improve KPIs for payments and development teams, driving design of extensible payments platform capabilities and optimizing engineering processes

All About You

  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years in a technical leadership position, 7+ years in people leadership, demonstrating a history of delivering high-performing solutions
  • Technical Background: 10+ years of hands-on web, mobile, or systems development, with 15+ years of payments experience and an undergraduate degree
  • Agile Expertise: Deep experience with agile development practices, CI/CD, feature flags, and instrumentation tooling
  • Global Payments Landscape: Leader in the global payments landscape with knowledge of relevant payment models in different regions
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and communication skills, able to effectively engage with employees and management at all levels
  • Operational Excellence: Budgeting, expense management, cost center management, and a sense of urgency to ensure timely deliverables
