A little bit about the role…

The Product Marketing Manager is a key member of our Product team. As our Product Marketing team grows, you'll collaborate closely with both Product and Marketing teams. You'll bridge the gap between technical product knowledge and how the product is marketed and sold. You'll oversee strategic programs, including positioning and messaging the core value proposition of the Solink platform. You'll also be responsible for executing world-class go-to-market strategies for new features and add-on products, and creating high-level messaging for Sales and Customer Success.

You have a passion for delving into product and domain knowledge, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform your work. Engaging with clients and prospects comes naturally to you. If you consistently strive to understand client insights and feature adoption, and apply those learnings to shape future product strategy, then this role is for YOU!

The ideal candidate is an experienced product marketer with a meticulous eye for detail. Applicants should have experience in product marketing in a B2B environment. This role balances a mix of strategic and tactical work, requiring creative vision to help plan the go-to-market strategy, and hands-on execution work to deliver the tools necessary for success.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You hold a Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications.

  • You have 5 years of product marketing experience, ideally in SaaS

  • You have an excellent grasp of customer acquisition and awareness-building.

  • You have exceptional ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders (internally and externally).

  • You have the ability to define business objectives, and initiate and execute strategic projects with minimal guidance.

  • You have skills in product positioning and the ability to empathize with the customer's point of view.

  • You hold excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate with clarity and simplicity.

  • You have experience with go-to-market plans and product launches.

  • You are CREATIVE, you love coming up with fresh and innovative ideas to effectively communicate with customers.

  • You hold strong Project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Bonus if…

  • You have graphic design experience.

  • You have previous experience in the video surveillance industry.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;

  • Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Lead product launches, including: crafting messaging and value propositions, collaborating on the execution of marketing assets, and delivering other materials to ensure adoption of features.

  • Work closely with leaders across our Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience/Enablement teams to develop a deep understanding of our product and clients' needs, and provide thoughtful recommendations for how to meet those needs whether through messaging or product updates.

  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of Product Marketing efforts on revenue growth through driving new customer adoption and helping existing customers get the most out of our software.

  • Partner with Customer Success, Marketing and Demand Generation to analyze data and usage to further improve product performance, increase the sales pipeline, and consistently hit revenue targets.

  • Leading product marketing initiatives aimed at increasing ARPU through product enhancements

  • Educate consumer and client-facing teams (eg. Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success etc.) on new features and collaborate with these teams to ensure the value is clear to a diverse set of audiences.

  • Maintain an up-to-date view of the competitive landscape and educate Solink's internal teams accordingly
