The Role:
As a Data Scientist, you will focus on developing and refining machine learning models including in the following areas:
Regression models: Optimizing baseline performance indicators for effective values, building and optimizing appropriate cohort groups.
Recommendation engines: Ensuring the most appropriate alerts are continuously being surfaced that will generate most value
Retrieval Augmented Generation: Using some of our captured data to surface themes through latest LLM technologies

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models designed to enhance baseline performance indicators, ensuring our algorithms operate at peak efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest developments in machine learning and AI technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our business and integrating relevant advancements into our operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, customer and leadership, to define key performance metrics and implement solutions that drive continuous improvement.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models, using a data-driven approach to optimize performance and achieve desired outcomes.
Document and present model development processes, outcomes, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
Requirements:
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and implementing machine learning models, with a specific focus on optimization problems.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with NLP and understanding of advanced models like LLMs, including technologies like RAG.
Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest AI and machine learning technologies and trends.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
