This is a true generalist role for someone who is comfortable taking the initiative and getting stuck in. You must have an impeccable attention to detail and have worked within a fast paced start-up environment where you can juggle and quickly execute on multiple tasks across people operations & experience to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

Operations

  • Constantly review, improve and automate people processes.
  • Own the execution of our people initiatives e.g. goal setting, engagement surveys, and performance management.
  • Ensure accuracy of our people system data, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Ensuring up to date documentation for all policies, procedures and training guides.
  • Go-to for people queries and inbox.
  • Confidently manage and execute payroll & benefits.

Employee Experience

  • Responsible for designing, managing and executing critical aspects of our employee experience.
  • Own and streamline onboarding/re-onboarding/offboarding: ensuring managers/department leads are fully equipped and engaged to deliver a positive experience.
  • Coordinate and track L&D efforts: ensuring employees are up-to-date with training, learning tools are fit for purpose and there’s a clear return on investment.
  • Maximise employee engagement through regular feedback from the business and in partnership with the team.

Support people projects

  • Actively involved in the design of our EVP, including the launch and embed of our virtues.
  • Own and support various projects within our People roadmap, from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and in line with our virtues.

Requirements / Experience

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
  • Solid experience in a full-cycle people role, crafting excellent employee journeys that are motivating and impactful.
  • You have supported, coordinated and executed on payroll for global firms, confident working with payroll tools and providers.
  • Experience supporting design and implementation of various people programmes e.g. L&D, benefits review, performance management.
  • Possess a strong understanding of HR processes. You enjoy keeping up to date on HR best practice & employment law change.
  • Take ownership of projects from scope to execution. Can comfortably define project scope, objectives, timeline, and plans.
  • Demonstrate a passion for working with people, mentoring junior team members and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Approach work creatively, seek innovative solutions and embrace learning.
  • Possess strong attention to detail, data skills for analysing and presenting insights.
