About the role
As an early member of our in-house engineering team at Oath, you will have a lot of ownership and autonomy. You will partner directly with our CTO to build and scale our products and services to families across the US.
As a senior engineer on the mobile team, you'll be at the forefront of building and architecting fun (and technically challenging!) features for a highly engaged and growing user base.

You are a software engineer with a knack of building highly responsive web and mobile apps that can make a big impact on customers. You love working with mobile technologies, like React Native, and building responsive, efficient applications. You understand the importance of scalability when designing solutions. You have great problem solving skills. You love keeping abreast of the latest technology and use it to help you innovate. You have strong leadership qualities, great judgment, clear communication skills, and a track record of delivering great products. You thrive on tackling challenging problems, and love the feeling of accomplishment when you succeed!
5+ years working on mobile stacks and recent experience with React Native deploying to both iOS and Android
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline
A strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn quickly, building knowledge and skills that this role requires.
Demonstrated experience interfacing with backend systems (DJANGO PYTHON) a major PLUS. In other words a true polyglot developer
Experience designing software architectures for scalability, reliability and performance.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities (Full Stack React Native)
Design and implement user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using React ecosystem
Build full-stack features that include some backend work
Work as a part of a small team that includes other React Native and React.js developers, backend developers, designers, QA experts, and product managers
Build app and UI components from prototypes and wireframes
Work with native modules as and when required
Use Native APIs for tight integrations with both platforms – Android and iOS
Build and iterate rapidly on engaging features (while squashing bugs) for the React Native app
Instrument and improve the overall performance of the React Native app, from startup time to navigation latencies
Collaborate directly with the product design team and other engineering (Web, Backend) teams
