About Oath
💙 Humans are hardwired for connection. This is especially true during big life shifts, like becoming a parent for the first time. The learning curve is so steep that parents are terrified they’ll do something wrong, overwhelmed with bad information, and painfully isolated.
👶 Oath is a purpose-built social platform for families across different life stages. We curate intimate groups of 10-15 parents, match them with a trained facilitator, and layer in stage-specific medical providers to create a comprehensive support system for modern parenthood.
🧬 Our model is grounded in 40+ years of scientific and clinical research. These studies show that there is a dose-response correlation between long-term stress in early childhood and 7 out of the top 10 causes of mortality in the US, all of which are chronic diseases. (Yes, you read that right.) This kind of stress affects us all: it cuts across all socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural lines. Research shows that the most powerful antidote to childhood chronic stress is having strong, consistent community bonds.
🚀 Oath is a social company building the future of healthcare. We believe that providing every parent and child with comprehensive, intimate, group-based care can unlock our collective ability to thrive. We’re backed by top-tier investors, including General Catalyst, Ross Fubini at XYZ, Christina Farr at OMERS Ventures, and Eros Resmini, former CMO of Discord.
