Senior Data Engineer (CX)

Remote Position available for Latin American candidates only.

Participating in this project, you will have the chance to work with top talented engineers, join a growing team dedicated to enhancing existing software related Big data and data service. In addition, the Senior Data Engineer will apply strong expertise in developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructures, transforming data into a format that can be easily analyzed, and architecting solutions for data scientists that enable them to do their jobs.

Team members must be comfortable working virtually as part of one or more customer engagements, with customers located in multiple geographies, and be willing to adjust schedules to meet the specific project's needs.

Position Location - USA (Remote).

Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

How you’ll make an impact:

The Data Engineer is expected to:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines to process and transform large datasets.

• Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of data workflows, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

• Work closely with data team members and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide necessary support.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, pipeline architecture, and integration workflows.

• Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure the integrity and quality of data throughout the pipeline.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum requirements:

• B2/C1 English level - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• 5+ years experience in Data Engineer and Informatica, ETL

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or related

• Deep knowledge of Python and PySpark is required.
  
• Experience with pandas, numpy, asyncio, Seaborn, Bokeh, Unit test, pytest, poetry, pylint, mypy and other generic libraries is beneficial.
  
• Background in Java, Selenium, Django.
  
• Deep knowledge in SQL Server or Oracle or any relational database.
• Experience with OpenSearch, Kibana, Kinesis, RDS, DMS, Dynamo and other minor ones

• Experience working in Snowflake: SnowPipe, SnowTask, Procedure etc… Snowflake management with staging, views and other dependencies

• Experience working with Cloud Platform as Amazon Web Services: EMR, EC2, Lambda, StateMachine, Athena, S3, Glue
  

• Collaborate with stakeholders including the Product owner, data science, and design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
