Senior Data Engineer (NCF)

Remote Position available for Latin American candidates only.

Mojix is a leading software provider of Item Chain Management solutions to consumer brand, retail, and industrial enterprises around the globe. We also provide development services and support to third-party customers across the globe.

Team members must be comfortable working virtually as part of one or more customer engagements, with customers located in multiple geographies, and be willing to adjust schedules to meet the specific project's needs.

Position Location - USA (Remote).

Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

How you’ll make an impact:

The Senior Data Engineer is expected to:

• Capable of interacting with cross-functional teams to define/clarify strategies for data handling and data analytics.

• Design, implement, and build data models and pipelines that deliver data covered by quality assurance mechanisms.

• Partner with technical and functional teams to design/build foundational data sets aligned with the business information needs.

• Provide suggestions on a consultancy approach to improve existing systems, data structures, and data flows.

• Realtime data could be required to micro batch. Considering Databricks to create the dataflows and the multiple sources.

• Work with the stakeholders to scope and prioritize solutions.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum requirements:

• B2/C1 English level - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• 5+ years of experience working as a Lead Data Engineer with solid knowledge of data governance, data flow, implementing data quality measures, and creating data pipelines.

• Knowledge and proven experience with Microsoft data tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and/or Azure SQL Server (T-SQL).

• Experience integrating different external data sources (relational databases, cloud data sources, ERPs, etc) to implement Data Lake solutions.

• Experience working with Business Intelligence solutions like Tableau or PowerBI.

• Desirable experience or knowledge about REST and GraphQL.

• Experience working with OpenTable formats such as Iceberg and DeltaLake.
