Contract System Administrator (6 months contract )

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in system administration, with a strong focus on Microsoft Windows Server, Linux OS, and cloud services such as AWS. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and reliability.

Project : Implement and assist customer Information Systems staff to upgrade Windows

and Linux operating systems to currently supported versions.

Position Location - This role is available in Latam.

Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server (2008 through 2022) and Linux operating systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing Active Directory and Microsoft SQL systems.
• Utilize AWS services to create and manage EC2 instances, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Implement and oversee Windows and Linux update and patching processes.
• Manage and maintain VMWare infrastructure.
• Administer systems within a complex enterprise network environment, requiring in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network services and protocols.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Work remotely and independently, adhering to tight schedules and delivering high-quality results. Overlap of at least 4 hours with corporate office in Bellevue, WA (Pacific Standard Time)

What we’re looking for:

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2008 through 2022) and Linux OS.
• Expertise in Active Directory and Microsoft SQL systems.
• Practical experience with AWS, specifically in creating and managing EC2 instances.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux update and patching procedures.
• Working knowledge of VMWare.
• Experience in administering systems within a complex enterprise network environment, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network services and protocols.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work remotely and unattended while meeting tight schedules.
