Senior Revenue Operations Manager
Jobber
Do you want to impact the hardest working people in the world?
Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Manager to be part of our Revenue Operations (RevOps) department.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The team:
The Revenue Operations team sits strategically at the unification of people, process, technology, and data. They work to drive a buyer centric go-to-market strategy and enable the ability for Jobber to engage with the right person, at the right time, in the right way. The team consists of roles that contribute to a whole that is much greater than the sum of its parts.
The role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations (PostSale), the Senior Revenue Operations Manager will work closely with go-to-market leadership to drive strategic projects that support our aggressive growth, and improve customer satisfaction and adoption of Jobber. You will help create the vision, structure, and processes required to scale the department and help Jobber become the market leader in the Home and Commercial Services industry. This role is on our PostSale team and will be supporting our onboarding, account management / expansion, and support teams while also assisting our fintech teams.
The Senior Revenue Operations Manager will:
- Support the RevOps org as a senior subject matter expert and participate in the development of junior staff.
- Specifically drive mission critical initiatives across both go-to-market strategy and technical transformation.
- Own the operations of our go-to-market function. Work with key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Success to drive effective processes that help us convert prospects at every stage of the funnel.
- Facilitate and drive strategic planning along with go-to-market leadership and Finance for high level initiatives such as Organizational Structure, Sales tactics, Segmentation, and new experiments.
- Work collaboratively inside and outside the team. You will act as a liaison between the go-to-market craft functions to align with them on top priorities. Also, you will work closely with our technical teams to drive system and process change.
- Establish the source of truth for go-to-market metrics. Create, maintain and communicate the key metrics that impact the business and help set targets to push the team forward.
- Analyze trends and performance in an effort to identify greater efficiencies and better understand process bottlenecks and inconsistencies throughout the entire sales lifecycle.
- Understanding the technological needs of the go-to-market teams, and enacting tooling changes as needed - from sourcing through to implementation.
To be successful, you should have:
- Extensive combined experience in a RevOps or go-to-market craft operations role.
- AI Evangelist; a forward looking, curious mind towards how to leverage AI to improve GTM.
- PostSale background; direct experience working in a postsale function (i.e. onboarding, customer success, expansion, support)
- Rev Ops experience; strong understanding of SMB B2B SaaS go-to-market strategy, processes, pipelines, and technology. [Specific focuses okay (sales, marketing, customer success, etc)]
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce & HubSpot and experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Mode Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data into understandable information that supports effective decision making.
- Experience with digital transformation of rev technology tooling.
- To be comfortable in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment. We’re growing fast and things are changing every day - what worked yesterday might not anymore.
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and establish new processes while streamlining existing ones.
- To be a champion of Jobber’s culture and core values - humble, supportive, and give a sh*t.
It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had/were:
- Proficient in SQL database language
- Certification in Salesforce or HubSpot
