The Employee Experience team is responsible for ensuring employees have a best-in-class experience in all work environments - remote, in-office and hybrid. This team is often one of the first points of contact for a variety of needs and requests.
The role:
Reporting to our Manager, Employee Experience, the Workplace Coordinator will lead the day-to-day operations at our Jobber office in Edmonton, while also playing a vital role in supporting a number of in-office initiatives. This position is a great fit for someone looking to move into a fast-growing and dynamic startup, where they can flex their organizational skills while utilizing a passion for people. This position will have a significant impact in creating and maintaining a positive employee experience for Jobberinos.
The Workplace Coordinator will:
- Manage in-office operations, including visitor greetings, courier handling, office organization, and executing in-person engagement activities.
- Oversee the in-office food program, including stocking snacks, drinks, and ordering catered lunches for bi-weekly stand-ups and special events.
- Assist with team offsite logistics, visitor interactions, facilities maintenance, ordering supplies, and office procedures.
- Provide office tours, help employees connect, and ensure they have the resources they need.
- Handle internal helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot office-related requests, and ensure timely resolutions.
- Plan and coordinate in-office events.
- Update and maintain guides and documentation for office operations, employee experience, and health and safety.
- Support satellite offices virtually with catering, communications, and office access.
- Contribute to the People team's strategy, supporting onboarding, researching new tools, and assisting with company-wide events.
To be successful, you should be able to:

- Be collaborative. You’re adept at working with different folks at Jobber or the general public to anticipate challenges, evaluate options and solutions, and take action when necessary. You know that different folks communicate in different ways and can adapt to the situation as needed.

Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with corporate travel coordination, including booking and managing travel through company travel platforms.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Experience supporting people operations administrative tasks, such as onboarding and offboarding processes, and general people operations administrative tasks.
All interviews are being conducted virtually – via phone or video.
Please note: This is an office-based role. You will be required in-office Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm MT.
