You’re a Senior Operations Manager, with financial services experience, who’s excited to forge a new way to save. You focus on ensuring that BaU processes are conducted efficiently and in accordance with risk frameworks, and always look at opportunities for new processes, procedures and tools which drive continuous innovation. Working with stakeholders to ensure processes and needs are understood, you facilitate communication between teams to support the overall strategy and improve operational performance.

What you’ll do:

Supporting the Head of Transactions Operations, this role will motivate, coach, and support the wider Transactions Operations team and will include the management of direct reports. It will ensure day-to-day delivery of the highest standard of transaction processing through effective management of Flagstone’s rates product management, payments & settlements, and reconciliations processes to ensure timely execution and high levels of accuracy for the Transactions Operations function.

You will support the Transactions Operations Management team to ensure the delivery of all key performance metrics, deliver positive change and business efficiencies, prepare reports through collecting, analysing and summarising data and trends, and oversee the day-to-day BaU line activities.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience within a financial services environment, ideally fintech
• Understanding of the payments, settlements and reconciliations processes
• Understanding of regulations regarding Client Money and Safeguarding, leading on real time issues and risk management
• People management, including coaching, performance management and creating an environment of openness and honesty
• Process improvement mindset, always looking to enhance and automate where possible to improve customer experience
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure close collaboration across the company
• Ability to prioritise, problem solve, and make effective decisions in a fast paced environment
• Data analysis/visualisation skills and Excel ability would be desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Empathy and self awareness
