Does this sound like you?

You’re a Business Development Manager, ideally with 5+ years’ experience in a Sales and New Business focused role, who’s excited to forge a new way to save.

What you’ll do:

As a Business Development Manager in our Flagstone International team in Jersey (CI), you’ll manage and grow Flagstone International’s Partner Bank relationships, and cultivate new relationships with global investment grade banks across multiple jurisdictions.

You’ll always ensure the delivery of ‘best in market’ deposit products for our customers and will be confident working across areas such as market research, new business introductions/sales, project management, contract negotiation and operational process agreement (both internally and externally).

Your responsibilities will include monitoring and identifying leads within the market to increase bank distribution partners for Flagstone, keeping abreast of industry changes and trends to enable a positive positioning of Flagstone as a bank partner, and identifying, prioritising, and planning how to onboard new bank partners.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a sales and new business development environment.
  • Ideally a background in fintech or financial/fiduciary services sectors, with customer/client management/banking experience.
  • Track record of performance in sales, business development or account management preferred.
  • Clear commercial acumen and evidence of negotiating and maintaining relationships at a senior level.
  • Comfortable with objection management and able to adapt to achieve results.
  • Influencing skills.
  • Ability to form effective business relationships with senior level stakeholders.
  • Ambitious, self-starter, who owns their responsibilities and takes the lead.
  • Self-aware, working to your strengths and asking for/accepting help.
  • Resilient, consistent, and reliable.
