What is Flagstone?

Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.

Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It's our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.

A feel for our culture:

To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.

That's why we're building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.

But enough about us. Let's talk about you.

Does this sound like you?

You're a Senior Financial Crime Manager, ideally with 7+ years' experience, who's excited to forge a new way to save. You are adept at developing and implementing comprehensive strategies, processes and procedures to safeguard organisations against money laundering, fraud, corruption, and other illicit activities. You work in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain a robust Financial Crime programme.

What you'll do:

The Senior Financial Crime Manager plays a critical role in striking the right balance between compliance requirements and operational efficiency, ensuring that compliance measures are effective without unduly hindering business operations. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a proactive strategy; designing and implementing effective process, procedures and controls; conducting regular product and process risk assessments; and establishing robust monitoring and surveillance systems.

You will also support the MLRO to oversee investigations; build effective relationships with industry associations/external partners; prepare and present reports to senior management; and work closely with our Product and Tech teams to ensure processes are in line with business needs and risks.

What you'll bring:

  • Excellent experience in Financial Crime compliance, AML/CFT, fraud detection or related fields
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and Fintech standards related to financial crime prevention
  • Track record of developing and implementing effective Financial Crime programs in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, projects, and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial data
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical conduct
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data, or related fields; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CAMS, CFA, CFE) would be preferable

How we reward you:

At Flagstone, the benefits extend beyond false gifts like "fruit and snacks". Instead, we invest in your health, wealth, and professional development. Here's a selection of our benefits:
