Job Summary:

The Web Experience Specialist will be responsible for the management of content across D2L.com helping to aggressively promote the brand and drive demand generation. As a key member of the marketing team, they will be the go-to person for all web content deliverables. They will proactively work with various groups including Product Marketing, Content, PR/Social, and Demand Generation teams to understand company objectives and deliver content to the web to meet those objectives. They will drive content for the company website, ensuring consistency of message, accuracy and timeliness of updates and communications.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Drive content of D2L.com to ensure messages align with the brand and value props
  • Work cooperatively with other functional areas within Marketing to design, develop and implement web-based communication strategies
  • Interface with Web Developers to build content, site architecture, usability, maintenance, updating and evolution of the website
  • Work with Performance marketing team to consistency between ads and landing pages.
  • Analyze website traffic and seek opportunities and avenues to optimize performance by closely working with Digital Analysts.
  • Deploy A/B tests throughout the site to improve conversions of clicks, form submissions and page engagement.
  • Monitor effectiveness and research ROI opportunities, making recommendations for improvement, developing and implementing corresponding solutions.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience delivering web content and running paid marketing campaigns
  • Experience working in a CMS like Wordpress translation plug in WPML
  • Experience running A/B tests to optimize websites (using VWO or similar tools)
  • Experience using Google Analytics or similar tools
  • Strong planning and execution abilities to develop and execute a content update plan using the tools and information available.
  • Ability to find and suggest areas of improvement to existing procedures and processes.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to independently find solutions to problems that arise in the process of building webpages.
  • Ability to work well independently but excels when working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve a common goal.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills are crucial for delivering insights from analysis to various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple website initiatives simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Web Development or Communications
