- Lead processes that support core actuarial functions and unit economic modeling
- Support multi-state expansion including, but not limited to, rate development, rate filings, and technology support
- Analyze and provide recommendations on segmented product pricing enhancements in existing states and provide regulatory support
- Contribute to a wide range of analytical projects that continuously enhance the business. A key feature of this role is effective collaboration with a peer network across all functional areas to drive accurate, timely and compliant execution of state launches with well-crafted written communications for both internal and external audiences.
- Building predictive models to support customer lifetime value scoring for both potential and current customers with minimal guidance
- Building actuarial tools to support trending, loss development, reserving, forecasting, rate measurements, segmentation, etc.
- Help with the execution of the monthly IBNR reserving process
What do you need as the Sr. Actuarial Analyst?
- Successful completion of 2 or more CAS actuarial examinations
- 5+ years of professional experience in an actuarial role
- Experience in Property and Casualty is preferred
- Technical abilities in R/SQL/Python/Excel
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and to challenge the status quo
- Strong decision making and relationship building skills
