The role:
We’re looking for an HRBP, People & Culture! This role is crucial in enhancing the overall employee experience and compliance with laws and regulations. We are looking for a manager who will focus on strengthening organizational culture, and driving Busbud's success by ensuring that employees are engaged, empowered, and equipped to excel in their roles.
What you can expect from this opportunity:
- Work with Global HR to develop and nurture company culture by implementing strategies and programs that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Manage and develop local HR coordinators and specialists.
- Promote employee well-being by managing local programs related to health, wellness, and employee assistance.
- Delivery of training and development programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and growth.
- Manage onboarding process for employees.
- Manage, administer, and liaise with third parties on health benefits and perks.
- Assist Global HR and Finance teams with payroll review.
- Champion diversity and inclusion efforts, ensuring a diverse and equitable workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.
- Collaborate with managers to foster effective performance management systems.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
- Maintain and communicate HR policies, changes, and updates to employees and managers. Contribute to and maintain localized HR policies and guides.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Track and increase employee retention rates through surveys and feedback.
- Assess impact of training and development programs on employee performance.
- Manage HR data, including employee records and benefits information.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve HR processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance HR efficiency.
How can you impress us:
- Required proficiency in English
- Proficiency in French and Spanish is an asset
- Understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and employment compliance requirements
- Global HR experience is a bonus
- Strong understanding of culture development, change management, and employee engagement
- Experience managing direct reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on people and culture initiatives
- Startup and scaleup experience is an asset
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
