About the role

Bold is looking for an Account Executive with a proactive, results-driven sales approach to drive growth by promoting and selling Bold's suite of Shopify apps. As a closer, you will be instrumental in identifying and converting sales opportunities. You will oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, directly contributing to the expansion of our footprint within the Shopify ecosystem. This person will have access to lead lists and incoming leads to support in meeting sales targets.

What you’ll do

  • Actively hunt for new business opportunities by prospecting and selling Bold's suite of Shopify apps to mid-market and enterprise brands.
  • Exceed individual sales revenue goals through proactive outbound sales efforts and achieving specified activity metrics.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to manage a complex sales process, engaging decision-makers and influencers at all levels.
  • Employ digital and traditional sales strategies, including online, phone, and in-person outreach, to nurture client relationships and generate leads.
  • Effectively close leads by identifying client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and negotiating terms.
  • Collaborate closely with Bold’s technology teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across technology, agency partnerships, marketing, and product teams to drive sales initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions using Salesforce CRM.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Account Executive in the Shopify ecosystem, demonstrating a self-starting and hungry mindset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and its dynamics, with a broad network within the Shopify community.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in technology, ecommerce, and/or SaaS.
  • Familiarity with a variety of Shopify's Subscriptions products such as Order Groove, Recharge, Recurly, Stay.Ai, Skio, and/or others.
  • Understanding of headless architecture, Hydrogen and APIs preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including virtual presentation capabilities and executive presence.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A positive team-oriented attitude, professional maturity, and a strong competitive drive for success.
  • Experience managing a team of SDRs is a beneficial asset, but not required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
