The Opportunity at Altana

We are hiring Business Recruiter to oversee end-to-end recruitment across Altana's Commercial, Marketing and G&A teams. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you’ll own the recruiting life-cycle for our business teams from sourcing to close.

In this role, you will serve as a project manager for each search, proactively thinking ahead about that next step from a company and candidate perspective. You are a strong communicator and can articulate action items and set deadlines across your hiring teams. Lastly, you will utilize a combination of creativity, relationship building, hustle, research, and data to craft the best possible candidate experience and make well-informed hiring decisions.

You Will

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across marketing, commercial and G&A roles in the US and globally. You'll devise top-of-funnel strategy, drive searches, and run point on offers and closing candidates.
  • Lead creative & innovative recruiting, sourcing, and employer branding initiatives to build pipelines.
  • Partner with the Altana leadership team on talent strategy, contributing your expertise on the market, interview best practices, and effective recruiting process to ensure we have a world-class talent function.
  • Prioritize building a diverse team at every step of the recruiting process, ensuring our top-of-funnel efforts and interviews provide candidates of all backgrounds with equal, unbiased consideration and opportunity.
  • Champion a differentiated, exceptional candidate experience to ensure all candidates leave our doors feeling inspired, supported, and informed.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics and use that data to drive decisions.
  • Exemplify Altana's core values in all of your communications. Whether or not it works out, candidates will love communicating with you.

You Have

  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for GTM teams at a fast-growing, early-stage company.
  • An ability to resonate with candidates by speaking to not just the "what", but the "why" behind the skills we are looking for.
  • You know this job is first and foremost a partnership, with candidates and with the teams you recruit for; you take a proactive, consultative approach with these relationships, building trust consistently and quickly.
  • A reputation for responsiveness and attention to detail -- you understand the impact this has on candidate experience and hiring top talent at Altana.
  • Admirable critical and creative thinking skills - you’re solution-oriented at heart.
  • Appreciation for creating, sticking to, and sharing recruiting processes & best practices across the company.

This role is a Hybrid position remote, with the option to work from one of our hubs in New York City or Washington D.C.
